RussCon was an Austin TX gaming group that met at my place every Wednesday evening from 1998 to 2005 (when I moved to Poland).

We had our own "Devil Points" rating system that evolved over the years and strived to simultaneously reflect the goals of some players to go for the win no matter how improbable (so the difference between 2nd place and last place is irrelevant) and other players to try to rank as highly as possible (so 2nd place is better than 3rd place).

I also evolved thoughts on creating a successful gaming group.
